Tomoko Ikari Managing Director |
Graduated from International Christian University (ICU), Tokyo, also studied at UCLA as an exchange student. Tomoko worked for Japan External Organisation (JETRO), a Japanese government agency to promote international trade and business for 10 years. During her service in JETRO, she was posted to Singapore where she developed a strong network among government agencies and business community. In 2000, she joined JAIC (Japanese venture capital firm)’s research & consulting division as a manager. She established Attisse Pte Ltd in 2003. In May 2008, Attisse’s research business was transferred to the newly established joint venture Crossborder Research Pte Ltd. |

Satoru Yano Director |
1986, LL.B. from Keio University (Japan). Founder of Crossborder Group and Managing Director of Crossborder Pte Ltd in Singapore. Yano worked with The Overseas Economic Cooperation Fund as a project finance officer in charge of SE Asia, Baring Brothers & Co. as a cross-border M&A team executive in the corporate finance dept., Link Pacific Co., Ltd. in Tokyo as managing director, and Nhat Viet Co., Ltd. in Vietnam as executive advisor. Yano started to run his own cross-border advisory business in 1991, and served to private sector, government agencies, and international organizations in many Asian countries. A permanent resident in Singapore. |

Ken Yap Director |
Graduated from Tokyo Institute of Technology and obtained MBA (Finance) from University of Hull, UK. Ken has an extensive network among Singapore government agencies as well as private sector through his working experiences in Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) and Trade Development Board. During the services at EDB, he organized various business linkage programmes between Singapore and Japan. Ken also worked as a corporate planning director of a main-board listed company in Singapore. He set up a joint venture with Japanese companies in Suwa in precision engineering business which he is still managing today. |
